Growing sport is touch and go

TOUCH football is one of Australia’s fastest growing sports and Albury team-mates Hamish Keatings, Thomas Keatings, Mac Daly, Josie Daly and Kelsy Keatings are looking forward to a big summer of touch on the Border.

The Albury Touch Association is having a ‘come and try touch football’ day open to all under-14s at Jelbart Park on Saturday, October 18.

Beginning at 9am, the day will allow interested juniors to give the sport a go and register for the season.

The ATA is also looking for interested parents to help co-ordinate the junior competition.

Touch football is a fast-paced, non-contact sport based around the rules of rugby league.
